If in fact our present sheriff is behind this movement to allow people to walk willie nillie down the streets of Hastings with pistols at their hips, I will be voting against him.
I am not happy to be loosing a competent chief of police, but I will gladly give that up in order to squash the candidacy of someone so far out of the mainstream as to think that this is acceptable.

Already did.
Hopefully the parade of fools will draw attention to how dangerous these people are, and when the election results have been counted (minus the cemetery ballots cast today by visitors from out-of-town) the thoughtful people of this county will get as much media coverage as the gun-nuts.
My faith in humanity dictates that I remain optimistic that the voters will realize that the yard-sign trio and their supporters need to be learned about and closely scrutinized before voting in response to sign volume.
I would support Mark, but his umbelical connection to the Sheriff and the gun-nuts puts him outside my focus.
My disappointment with WGRD and the Hastings Banter is beyond measure.
