My parents always taught me that if something was meant to happen, it will. The lesson was not meant to be one of faith , as much as work, and planning. Without work, and planning involved, almost all of the outcomes we could hope for, would be lost from the beginning.
In short, nothing worthwhile is free.

I probably could have come up with that same thought, if only I'd put in the effort ; )

Actually, this hits close to home and touches on a reason I haven't been able to blog as much as I'd like. Too many irons in many fires means I don't give any one thing enough attention and sustained effort to see it become successful enough to want to do it even more. I'm kind of burned out on working a part time gig that makes no money, especially when it's one of many!

Agno.

ref. your post of 3-26-08, sorry you feel that this matter over on pol.wat. site if not right.

Go back and look at the many blogs and the resulting comments that he allowed on this one subject.

It is not going away this easy, a person life was ruined for something he did not do.

Elected officials have to answer for their actions. Remember, pol-watcher ran an ad in the local barry rag, it said come to my site if you want the real info.

So now just because you and many others think you have pushed the director out and it should be over and let things just die, you are just wrong.

This issue will continue as long as we have 2-3 elected officials who are misusing their office for their own gain.

So you have a choice just like dave & PW do, live with what we have to say or block us.

That will really show us what freedom of speech is all about.....

I don't recall a WMP ad in the "local Rag" at all. What issue was it in? I keep copies and can easily look it up.
Had the director stood, and faced the criticism instead of taking a payoff, and running, the people might have had more information on hand to form sympathy. Now, it just looks like he is in search of more money, and political payback. Truth is he quit, and he is making his lackeys fight a battle that he could have fought long ago.
I will not stop you from making comments here. But you really are barking up the wrong tree if you are looking for a sympathetic ear. Just do me a favor and write something once in a while, about whatever subject I ramble on about. That way neither of us have to look foolish.

A,

It was in both the banner & the other paper printed by them.

If you think I buy and keep either of them you were wrong.

It was there and if PW was willing he would tell you he or somone he knew paid for them.

Shows you how wrong these guys are. I NEVER ran an ad. Someone else ran it because they agreed with me (that Freedom of Speech thing). In case you need to know, I don't even know or remember who it was that placed the ad- I had actually forgotten it until it was mentioned here. If they are reading, I'd like to thank them for it. But I'm sure you guys won't let a pesky thing like facts stand in the way of your flawed argument.

I like how a guy's life is ruined by being able to take early retirement. Maybe he shouldn't have quit is he was so innocent.

Notice how they still don't start their own blog, they just want to keep laying brown stuff in YOUR punch bowl and then wonder why you might not like turd-flavored punch and pretend you are censoring them when you are merely scooping dookie out of your drink?

In other words, just more quilt by association and kill the messenger tactics from a Grade A Bully who got what was his and now cries about it all day long, spending his taxpayer-funded pension while loudly crying about all the taxpayer money spent investigating him.

Yeah, you know it kinda bothers me that the director was not worried about his name being sullied when he took that large amount of cash and retired in the face of these charges.
Is it more brave to stand and fight, or take the money, and go into electronic witness protection on these blogs, and snipe at your enemies?

If either of you have evidence that the former director took large amounts of cash you should come forth with the information you have. I am sure right now "Barney & Big Boy" would do anything to find something, somewhere, even it comes from under a rock, that would help them look a little less foolish than they do now.
